Kivanc Karayol is the Deputy General Manager at SANY Group, driving strategic growth across Saudi Arabia, North Africa, and Turkey, with a strong focus on electric trucks, solar energy, wind turbines, and the renewable energy transition. He brings a rich background across both the traditional and new energy sectors, having held impactful roles at global leaders such as British Petroleum (BP) and Volvo Group. With over 15 years of experience, Kivanc has led market expansion, multimillion-dollar operations, and pioneering electromobility initiatives across the Middle East and beyond. Known for building strong commercial teams and forging key partnerships, Kivanc plays a key role in accelerating sustainable growth and decarbonization across transport and infrastructure in emerging markets.
Vishal Sanghavi
Vishal Sanghavi is Head of Global Aftermarket Strategy at Knorr-Bremse Systems for Commercial Vehicles Ltd., a leading player in braking solutions for commercial vehicles. With deep expertise in the aftermarket, he focuses on enabling Knorr-Bremse to stay future-ready by transforming industry shifts into opportunities that deliver real value for customers.
Prior to this, Vishal spent over a decade in consulting, helping global automotive companies navigate complex challenges, drive growth, and lead organizational transformation.
Wahaj Malik
Wahaj is 39 years old, is married having three kids and love spending time with family and friends. He loves walking and plays badminton regularly as hobby.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Wahaj Malik possesses more than 17 years of experience in the truck industry in various roles across India, Region South Asia and Middle East .
Having joined Volvo Group in 2007, Wahaj occupied a variety of positions including Private dealer managemnet, Customer support, and Product Management. Working for UD Trucks MEENA now, Wahaj is Director of Sales since 2016 and manages the importer relationship, sales operation, and product startegy for UD Trucks business.
During his tenure at UD Trucks, Wahaj has overseen a number of significant achievements for UD Trucks in the region and managed to improve the UD Trucks MS and amplified the brand’s success in the region. Wahaj was also intrumental for the introducton and succesfull launch of several new models of UD Trucks in the region.
Wahaj has earned several awards for exceptional performance and project executions within UD Trucks. During this tenure UD Trucks MEENA is also awarded as “Outstanding Manufaturer award 2023” by Truck and Fleet awards.
Wahaj is based at UD Trucks’ MEENA office in Dubai, UAE.
