Marwa Kaabour is one of the UAE’s respected communication Executives and leading practitioners. She is the Head of Marketing and Communication for Al Masaood Group, Abu Dhabi’s pioneering business conglomerates. She was selected as the Best Leader in the Group in 2019.

Marwa is a marketing and communications expert who expertise lies in establishing and leading marketing and communication functions. Marwa’s 20 years of experience span many specializations such as strategic management, personal branding, media relations, creative messaging, brand management, and growth marketing.

Marwa’s rich marketing experience spans several industries, including Airlines, Banking, FMCGs, F&B, and Automotive, manufacturing, construction and energy. Her contributions are evident in delivering services to a broad spectrum of global and regional brands such as Volvo Penta, MTU, Nissan, Al Hilal Bank, Nestle, Kraft, Emirates Airline, Pizza Hut, entities that fall under the Government of Abu Dhabi.

The early days of her career were with the best and most awarded advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett and Impact BBDO. Marwa then moved to the Client side and worked in the capacity of marketing and communication. 

Marwa holds an MBA from the American University of Sharjah and Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems (with honours) from the same university. Marwa is a Certified Sustainability Marketer, with an accreditation from the Center for Sustainability Excellence and a Certified Digital Marketer from the Institute of Digital Marketing in Ireland.  Marwa is a frequent lecturer at Abu Dhabi University on the topics of communications and CSR.

Marwa, an advocate of health and financial literacy, Marwa often blogs about the topics of CSR and brand’s higher purpose. She is a member of the Marketing Society, UAE Chapter, frequently published articles. 

Marwa was named Campaign’s Middle East 2021 Marketing Game Changer and was selected as one of LinkedIn’s Most Engaged Marketers in 2014 and was selected as the UAE’s ‘Highly Commended Female Marketing Leader’ by the Women in Marketing Institution in London in 2018. Marwa was named “Best CMO in UAE” by the Digital Stallions Community and was winner of Al Masaood’s ‘Best Leader Award’ and ‘Best Support Department Award’.

He provides regulatory and certification guidance to support the launch of new tires in GCC and MEA region.

Regionally focused professional with cross-functional experience in the private and UAE federal government sector. Excellent expertise in developing and implementing ESMA, GSO, and SASO Technical Regulations and conformity assessment schemes.

Abdelhameed is a former ESMA standardization and conformity Engineer who worked for ESMA before beginning his career with Bridgestone.  He held a Secretary of the UAE national committee for Mechanical products, vehicles, and tires from 2011 to 2016. He represented UAE in the gulf technical committee and the GSO type approval team responsible for testing the new vehicles and tires for GCC markets within the same period.

Abdelhameed earned his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Minia University in Egypt, his Postgraduate Diploma in Total Quality Management from American University in Cairo.

Salman Hussain

Salman is an Engineer with a deep desire to transform mobility to electric in the region with prolific experience in the field of electric vehicles for over 6 years.           

Salman is the Chief Product Officer for EV LAB, the omnichannel retail concept by Chalhoub that aims to bring a selection of electric vehicles to consumers of the UAE and also Founder of FUSE, an exciting concept that converts classic cars to electric. Through strategic partnerships, consulting, community engagement, engineering and market leadership, our companies are laying the groundwork for the dramatic changes are we are bearing fruit of the region.

Being in the UAE for over 25 years, he has a deep connection to the UAE and has first-hand witnessed the changes in transforming this city into the regional hub of the MENA region and increasingly the beacon of sustainability. An engineer by trade, he has worked in several industries after his Masters in Engineering from Imperial College in London, and with experience in the aviation industry, construction and glazing, and lastly with electric vehicle and infrastructure. He was the first private owner in the UAE of the Renault Zoe in 2016, having driven more than 6 years exclusively with electric vehicles and having covered more than 200,000km within the UAE fully electric. He worked at EVERA in early 2019 to promote sustainable solutions to the adoption of Electric Vehicles, and then EV LAB to scale the startup to achieve scale and developing their product and has recently completed the first UAE-made long range EV conversion of a classic VW beetle. Salman also serves as a member of the Future Mobility Club (FMC), a Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) initiative focused on raising awareness and encouraging collaboration within the regional mobility sector to drive change.

Mirsad Nezirevic was appointed General Manager, Aftersales of Al Masaood Automobiles in June 2013. He is a strong leader with more than 25 years of track record in growing businesses, brands, and people.            

In his current role, Mirsad manages a range of diverse car models made by Nissan, Infiniti, and Renault. He supervises a vehicle throughput of 12,000 monthly. Under his supervision, there are 484 work bays in Abu Dhabi, Mussafah, Al Ain, and Madinat Zayed, in addition to AutoCentral service centres located in three different locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Under his leadership, Al Masood Automobiles’ operating profit surged by 1,200 per cent from 2013 up to 2017. The company also won major accolades under his watch—the most recent one was the Nissan Aftersales Global Award 2021.

Mirsad played various senior roles in Germany and the UAE prior to joining Al Masaood Automobiles. He was the longtime Service Manager of AGMC BMW, overseeing the company's operations in Sharjah and Northern Emirates from January 2007 to July 2009 and Dubai from August 2009 to May 2013. He was the Workshop Supervisor at Daimlerchrysler, AG in Duesseldorf, Germany before leaving for the Emirates.

He holds Meisterbrief, a Master Craftman’s Certificate, from Handwerkskammer, Dusseldorf. The certificate is classified at level 6 in the German Qualification Framework and is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.

Having earned a degree in Communication studies from Al Akhawayan University of Ifrane in Morocco and completed a Master’s Degree in Strategic Marketing from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, Majda currently possesses more than 12 years of extensive experience in the communications and marketing field with the last 10 years within the automotive industry. Majda joined the Volvo Group in 2013 as a Marketing and Communications Specialist after gaining valued experience in the events industry in Morocco.

She was then appointed Online-Communication and Public Relations Manager in 2014. She led projects such as the most significant product launches for Volvo Trucks brand before quickly moving into the Marketing and Communications Manager position after a year. Currently, she holds the position Director of Marketing and Communications responsible for leading the department’s marketing functions with UD Trucks. UD Trucks was part of the Volvo Group until April 1st, 2020 when it was then transferred to Isuzu Motors. Majda has overseen several business accomplishments during her current role, including establishing a class-leading integrated internal and external communications function to build and maintain UD Trucks’ reputation.

Majda is also responsible for advancing the company’s marketing and media strategies, promoting revenue, profitability and growth, and communicating the company’s vision, strategy and execution across the region. Majda is based in UD Trucks’ headquarters in Dubai, UAE.

"Frank Beaujean is an expert of the garage equipment industry from Kempten, Germany. He has spent the past three decades working for different garage equipment manufacturers such as Beissbarth, Snap-on and MAHA in different positions. Prior to setting up her own company, Nagham worked at AstraZeneca and other leading companies in the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years. Nagham has a bachelor’s in pharmacy and holds an MBA from the Manchester Business School in Dubai.

Mark is the Sales Director for Trinity Lubes & Greases FZC and GRENVO Lubetech, wholly owned subsidiaries of the SGL group.  SGL is one of the world’s leaders in lubricant development holding a number of patents that are made for and sold by the world’s leading lubricant brands. Mark is a UNITI Certified Professional for Lubricant Technology and has extensive experience in selling and developing businesses.  He is passionate about educating thereby helping importers and distributors exploit their markets with lubricants and greases so that they can maximise their synergies and experience growth. Mark has been in the UAE for a year, before this he worked for a German oil company looking after markets in Africa, Australia, India and northern America.

Having joined ONE MOTO in 2016, I was pivotal in the global research and development to ensure we launched with the highest performing vehicles in class and ensuring the five values of ONE MOTO were communicated. Sustainability, Affordability, Convenience, Technology and Experience. As the business has grown, I now sit in the seat as Head of Innovation at this fast growing mobility start up with head offices in London, Dubai and India. With an inherent passion to educate and inspire, we have launched ONE Academy in partnership with RIT Dubai to enhance the vocational experience to build the future pioneers of the industry. When I’m not deep diving into all things EV, you’ll find me and my chi in the Himalayas, picking up a guitar or hiking up the mountains.
