Granville Oil & Chemicals is a British manufacturer of quality motor oils, automotive chemicals, and workshop ancillaries. We also distribute some of the industry’s top brands including Rain-X®, GUNK®, and Autosol®. For over forty years Granville’s success has been built on a firm foundation of offering a world-class service to our customers and supplying them with the best that the automotive industry has to offer.

Our vehicle-specific lubricants, all meeting the latest technical specifications are manufactured and distributed from our modern ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certified facility located in South Yorkshire.
The introduction of innovative application systems and sophisticated business tools for our Customers, has enabled businesses selling our products to increase their own profitability.
Our strength of distribution coupled with Granville’s professional sales force has been identified by major manufacturers as the most efficient way for them to achieve distribution of their own brands into the UK market.
The covid pandemic caused many businesses to revisit their supply chain, operations, stockholding and review their use of “just in time” production practices as a result of what would previously have been considered unprecedented global disruption. At Granville we reviewed our operations and supply chain and established a weakness for us was in the sourcing of bottles.
To resolve this we have invested in blow moulding equipment to be able to manufacture our own bottles as needed. This improves resilience, efficiency and is significantly more environmentally friendly as we will negate at least 100 truck journeys per year saving 1000 tonnes of CO2 per year. The ability to manufacture bottles and fill them on a single site is a major step forward in Granville’s evolutionary journey.
