About us
Merlin Diesel Systems Ltd is one of the world’s leading aftermarket suppliers of diesel fuel injection. We have over 75 years of experience in the diesel fuel injection industry and distribute to more than 100 countries worldwide.
We are authorised distributors for Delphi, Bosch, Denso, Perkins, Continental, DISA, Stanadyne, Yanmar, Vitesco and Robiel. Our product range covers Commercial, Off-Highway, PSV, Passenger, Power Generation, Rail, and Marine applications. We also manufacture our own range of Diesel fuel injection test equipment and our machines are serviced worldwide.
Merlin Diesel Systems operate from four locations: our headquarters in Preston, Lancashire; Halifax, Yorkshire; Harrow, London and Shanghai, China; operating remanufacturing facilities out of all three UK sites. We have also recently accuired Colechester Fuel Injection and Tyne Electro Diesel to the Merlin Group.
The recent expansion of our Preston HQ boasts an impressive 7,110 square metres for the distribution, test equipment, and workshop facilities, and holds over £26million worth of stock.

Due to recent expansion and development of Merlin HQ, and an investment of over £1 million in a new Remanufacturing Division, which is a fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility with over 20 OE standard test benches in operation. We have full authorised approval of our OE diesel suppliers, and all our technicians are OE manufacturer trained. Our remanufacturing programs cover a comprehensive range of applications, including: • Car • Commercial • Off-Highway • Agricultural • Marine All assembly procedures are carried out in a clean room environment, and OE parts are used throughout. To further support our remanufacturing division, we are also able to utilise the facilities and expertise of the Merlin Group; Feather Diesel Services, Tyne Electro Diesel Ltd. & Colchester Fuel Injection Ltd.
