Chemnaft started more than 10 years ago as a local lubricating oil producer in Poland, but now operates in more than a dozen countries in the European Union and also outside Europe.

The production facility and company headquarters are located in Baboszewo, a town 80 km north-west of Warsaw.

Currently, our facility includes the production of lubricating oils, the regeneration of used oils and the production of regenerated oil base for our own use in the production of budget lubricants with uncomplicated applications such as mould oils.

What distinguishes Chemnaft from global companies is its high degree of flexibility in its operations and the fulfilment of orders tailored to specific customer requirements. We are not afraid of challenges and have the know-how, experience and capabilities to carry out difficult tasks. We operate mainly in the B&B model serving large wholesalers operating in the automotive, agricultural and industrial areas. We also win many tenders and supply lubricating oils to the Polish army, meeting the stringent requirements of military standards.

The company was built on a staff comprising people with many years of experience in the lubricating oil industry. These people have worked for many years in large oil companies and represent both the technical-technological area and the commercial area.

A key activity of the company is the implementation of research and development work aimed at developing new technologies to strengthen the company's position and expand the scope of operations, which contributes to the company's financial security.

Work in recent years has included among others:

- development of engine oil technology with nano-additives;

- recovery of lithium from waste batteries;

- development of sulphur additive technology for the manufacture of gear oils.

In our laboratory, we are constantly testing new raw materials by building dozens of new formulations, which contributes to raw material safety and allows us to obtain high-quality lubricating oils at very attractive prices. This has enabled us to operate smoothly and without raw material problems during the difficult time of the Covid pandemic.

Experienced staff and a dynamic development strategy for the coming years made it possible to obtain EU funds related to the development of infrastructure, laboratory, research and development work. Chemnaft is the only company in Poland to implement projects aimed at launching the production of full-fledged additive packages for petroleum products. This work will also be carried out in the field of obtaining components from waste products, e.g. lithium from waste batteries for the production of additives for lubricating oils and greases, esters extracted from waste vegetable oils.

We are currently working with the world's largest raw material suppliers such as Infineum, Afton as well as oil chemistry producers from Asian markets. We have successfully implemented raw materials (mainly individual additives) that we directly import from China or India into our production.
