LUMAG was founded in 1988 by Marek Żak, the current main shareholder and CEO. Initially we focused on the production of brake linings. Later we implemented our own brake pad manufacturing technology. Over the years the company achieved enormous technological progress, which is showcased by or constantly upgraded collection of machinery, applied engineering solutions as well as the continuous rise of quality and safety standards.

For us quality is paramount, that is why we operate on the basis of our own tried-and-tested formulas and a repeatable manufacturing process. Owing to that, our linings and pads ensure the highest level of safety and comfort.

Since September 2013 we have been operating out of a new production facility covering the area of nearly 19 thousand square meters. It has been the largest investment in our history, which spans 25 years. The new factory allows us to satisfy ever-growing customer needs and meet strict demands of the OEM market. The factory features an automated mixing facility, designed and custom-built for the manufacture of friction materials, coupled with high-capacity processing lines. The investment will multiply our current production capacity and allow us to increase the headcount by around 10%. The facility is located 60km from Poznań, in the town of Budzyń, whose convenient placement near a junction of major transportation routes provides us with a logistical advantage.
