In 2025, there three newly developed summer tires from the tire and wheel wholesaler Interpneu were launched on the market: the Platin RP 330 and RP 430 Summer tread variants for cars and SUVs, as well as the Platin RP 530 Van.

With the three new tyre lines, Interpneu, as part of the Karlsruhe-based Pneuhage Group, remains true to its 37-year brand tradition: with PLATIN, the company aims to appeal not only to price-conscious but also quality-conscious users.

The PLATIN RP 430 SUMMER was specifically developed as a summer UHP tire for passenger cars and SUVs in 56 sizes from 16 to 20 inches. In particular, the wide selection of 19- and 20-inch sizes, with 16 and 11 sizes, covers the applications for many new vehicle models and heavy-duty SUVs in line with market.

The tread design, with its high silica content, is intended to enable responsive handling and optimal grip on wet roads. Attention was also paid to the shoulder design: its high rigidity promotes stability at high speeds and precise cornering. The wide 3+1 main tread grooves can effectively wick away water, thus preventing aquaplaning at high speeds. Interpneu also places great importance on low rolling noise. The tread design and new noise-reducing sipes along the ribs are intended to increase driving comfort. This is also reflected in some lower dB values.

For VANS and LIGHT COMMERICAL VEHICLES: PLATIN RP 530 Van Summer

Available in 11 sizes from 14 to 17 inches, the PLATIN RP 530 Van Summer will be available as a long-lasting summer tire with improved product characteristics for vans and light commercial vehicles. New to the range is the size 215/60R 17C 109/107 T.

A reinforced outer shoulder and continuous center ribs are designed to ensure good handling and high impact resistance. An optimized arrangement of the longitudinal grooves optimizes the contact patch in corners and thus driving stability. The rubber compound was redesigned with a focus on high wear resistance, thus ensuring good mileage and fuel efficiency. The robust carcass and sidewalls protect against impacts and abrasion, thus significantly increasing the tire's durability.
